· Only use on dry pickleballs.
Stamping: How to DinkStamp your Pickleballs
IMPORTANT: This ink is “permanent” so only stamp in an area where a dropped stamp or “wet” ball won’t cause a problem!
· Remove the lid from the DinkPad
· Press the DinkStamp into the pad 1-2 times to wet the stamp. Avoid inking the edges of the stamp
· Position the stamp on the pre-roughened ball and press firmly
· Replace the lid after use
Tips:
· It may take a few times to get a good stamp (not too much or too little ink, not printing the edge of the stamp, etc.
· Recommend using old/cracked balls to get the pressure and ink level correct. Wipe off a freshly stamped ball with isopropyl alcohol to start over.
· It may help to place your pickleball in a coffee cup or similar object to help keep it steady while stamping.
· If the stamp on your ball appears “shiny”, the surface may not have been roughened up enough prior to stamping.
Ink Dry Time:
· A few minutes up to 30 minutes depending on a variety of conditions such as temperature, humidity, ball material and surface roughness.
· Avoid tossing freshly stamped balls into your bag, use them until fully dry to prevent smearing.
Stamp Cleanup:
· To keep your stamp free of ink buildup, wipe clean with baby wipes, or stamp cleaner.
Product Storage:
· Store the Stamp and Pad in a cool, dry place with no direct sunlight inside the provided zip-lock bag. This helps prevent the pad from drying out and avoids spills.
